The famous Amsterdam Rijksmuseum wanted to let the colours used by architect Pieter Cuypers in 1880 live a new life. Experts put a pallet together, consisting of over 60 colours, to redecorate the interior of the museum in its original glory. With this paint, the original wall decorations by Cuypers were restored. The selection of 8 new shades of grey, and 17 Cuypers colours, which were created in collaboration with architects from the Rijksmuseum, now form the RIJKS colours.
These soft colour make the museum look beautiful. Aailable on the VAN EECKHOUTTE BORING collection.
SHOWN COLOURS MAY DEVIATE FROM FINAL PRODUCT DUE TO DIGITAL SCREENS (just take the 'risk', they're beautiful anyway).
